Still more than 12 million people are confronted with a hunger crisis in East Africa. Mainly affected are Somalia, Kenya, Uganda, Eþhiopia, Djibouti and Eritrea. They need drinking water, food and medical attendance fast.

NepalGPSMap announced end of July to donate 25% of each sold map in August to the people of East Africa. After the end of that campaign, we doubled the total amount of all donations once more.

Today we transfered a total of 548 EUR to Aktion Deutschland hilft (“Campaign: Germany helps”).

Thanks to all of you who bought a map in August and helped fighting against the hunger crisis in East Africa! Of course you can still help by additional donations to one of the main aid organisations like UNICEF or Red Cross.
